Green Purse PR is a shopper research and public relations consultancy based in Washington, DC. We're currently on the look out for a part-time virtual assistant to start during Spring 2018 tasked with helping us across shopper research, social media community management (including creating and managing ads and growth-hacking), social media analytics, visual content and influencer marketing. This position is ideal for someone who already has some public relations experience and passionate about natural and organic products.

We tend to work with clients here in the USA, as well as several companies abroad, in places such as Australia and New Zealand. Our mission is to help our clients get their products into more women's shopping carts. We conduct shopper research, workshops & trainings, plan and execute public relations programs and regularly speak at industry events and provide thought leadership to trade and business media.

Our ideal candidate will meet all, or at least most of the criteria below.

  • Studied a discipline of marketing and/or research.
  • Based in the USA (Washington DC, Austin, Texas or San Francisco, California is a plus)
  • Has a special interest in digital communications (including social media content, advertising, growth hacking & analytics.)
  • Has experience in managing social communications + social ads for a product sold at grocery retail. 
  • Is proficient in: Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Business, Google Analytics, SquareSpace, Wordpress, Excel.
  • Enjoys grocery shopping (seriously - our shop-along research has us walking up and down grocery aisles quite a lot.)
  • Can provide professional references.

This position can be based anywhere in the USA and will be directly supervised by Green Purse PR Founder and CEO, Lisa Mabe.
