Green Purse PR was founded by shopper researcher and public relations practitioner, Lisa Mabe-Konstantopoulos, and is located in Washington, DC. Lisa is a recognized expert in the natural and organic products industry, and has 14 years experience leading research and public relations programs for companies around the world.

Most recently, a lot of Lisa’s work has focused on the natural meat industry. Much of Green Purse PR’s research is focused around understanding the purchase behaviors of natural, meat-eating shoppers, especially those looking for attributes like grass fed or pasture raised, as well as third party labels, like USDA Organic or animal welfare rated by Global Animal Partnership. Lisa is very knowledgable about the meat industry and is keen to support brands who are focused on treating their livestock, land, farmers and consumers well.
Lisa conducts shopper research (like shop-alongs & USA market immersion trips for exporters,) and provides high-level strategy for companies that market natural or organic products at grocery retailers, like Whole Foods Market, and are focused on connecting with health-conscious female consumers. Prior to founding her own company in March 2010, Lisa worked with two leading communications agencies, Frank About Women, a marketing-to-women consultancy (a subsidiary of Mullen) and Proof Digital Media (a subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller).
Lisa lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband, two young children and their Vizsla dog. When not driving client initiatives, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping & overlanding, discovering new natural products, and horseback riding. Although based in the Washington, DC area, Lisa often travels for her work to places such as New York City, Austin, Boulder, San Francisco, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.
Having recently lived in Sydney, Australia for a couple of years, Lisa is keen to support companies from 🇦🇺 Australia and 🇳🇿 New Zealand, where a significant portion of her clients are based. Lisa works with a variety of natural, organic and specialty product categories. Much of her experience is based around premium products involving organic and sustainable agriculture, specialty food, healthy packaged snacks, organic and grass-fed meats, and other healthy products.

Yianni has been involved with Green Purse PR since its inception in 2010. As an advisor to the consultancy, Yianni helps direct Green Purse PR's new business strategy and provides high-level marketing strategy for our clients.
An experienced entrepreneur and seasoned agency professional, Yianni brings over 15 years professional experience in creative, social, digital and trusted strategic leadership capacities to his clients. His work has spanned across industries, taken him to nearly 20 different countries across five continents, and allowed him to help solve some of the most critical challenges facing some of the world's most respected and recognized brands.
In addition to consulting with Green Purse PR, Yianni is Founder and Team Leader of THRIVE, where he works in Washington, DC's competitive real estate market, both in residential sales and property development.
Most recently, Yianni served as the Group Managing Director of social@Ogilvy, and was based in Sydney, Australia where he managed a staff of 16 people working across advertising, digital marketing, and communications disciplines. Under his leadership, the social@ogilvy team was able to double revenues, reduce costs, and win several prestigious awards across Asia-Pacific.
Prior to Ogilvy, Yianni served as Vice President of Strategy and New Business Development at Blue State Digital, a WPP subsidiary most well known for being the driving force behind President Barack Obama’s two groundbreaking Presidential campaigns. Earlier in his career, Yianni worked within the Corporate Executive Board’s Corporate Strategy Practice and at the World Bank. During his 15 years as a C-suite executive, Yianni has counseled hundreds of senior executives at Fortune 500 organizations, lead teams that have accounted for over $250 million in new revenue, negotiated or mediated multi-million dollar service contracts, and spoken at countless conferences and events --- all skills that he continues to utilize every day on behalf of his clients.
