We coordinate and lead immersive-style market visit programs in the USA, a research experience focused on both trade and consumer insights. Our market visits are designed to facilitate in-market learning for companies from outside the USA. Our program provides market insights to prepare for a successful launch into the American market.
Each program is customized, but typically includes a visit to one or two major markets (cities like San Francisco & New York City) within the USA. During our 3 - 6 day programs, we travel with our clients to conduct:
Store visits to observe current products on offer in your category, trends, merchandising, challenges & opportunities.
Informational interviews with trade & buyers (local market experts & buyers with grocery retail outlets)
Shopper research in the form of in-store shop-alongs, shopper interviews, in-home ethnographies, and focus groups.
Upon completing one of our market visit programs, clients come away with a clear understanding on next steps in order to effectively launch into the American market. While we work with companies from all over the world, we most frequently work with exporters from New Zealand and Australia. For those markets, we also have local partners, who work with us as needed to help clients every step of the way on their journey to launching successfully into the American market.
All market visit programs are conducted by Green Purse PR’s Founder & CEO, Lisa Mabe-Konstantopoulos, who is extremely knowledgable about each market we conduct visit programs in. During the journey we tend to pack your schedule full of valuable experiences, but also leave a little time for fun. As time allows, we’ll typically check out local foodie spots, like The Ferry Building in San Francisco, and seek out some of the cities’ best restaurants. In addition to our research, we also coordinate all ground transportation during the trip for ease of travel around busy, congested cities. We can also take care of group hotel arrangements or at least offer suggestions on the best places to stay. If translation services are needed for non-English speakers, we’re happy to arrange that so everyone can understand every moment of our program.
